Stacey Streetman is a lifelong resident of Clarksville and has lived in Ward 10 for over two decades. She was raised in the Sango area of Montgomery County by her parents, Joe and Phyllis Streetman, along with her brother, Robert. She learned at a young age the value of hard work, serving others and participating in the political process. After graduating from Clarksville High School, she enrolled at Austin Peay State University.
While attending APSU as a full-time student, she put herself through college by waiting tables and working as many hours as part-time employees were allowed. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2006. After graduating college, she joined the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce where she worked with many local small business owners as a Membership Sales Representative. Later she served as a Chamber Board Member and Chamber Ambassador.
Streetman has continued her passion for helping small business owners in various roles in community banking and financial management. After beginning as a Financial Services Representative, she was quickly promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager and eventually Vice President of Business Development at F&M Bank. In 2011, she graduated from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Since 2021, she has served as Controller for a locally owned business.
In addition to her professional career, Streetman is involved in leading many local civic organizations. For 13 years she coordinated volunteers for the annual Rivers and Spires festival. She has served on the Customs House Museum Guild and Board, served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters and was the Montgomery County Public Art Ad Hoc Committee Chair in 2020. She is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Clarksville and 2016 graduate of Leadership CMCSS.
Elected to the City Council in 2018, Streetman has served a variety of committee positions, including Finance Committee Chair (since 2021), Legislative Liaison Committee Chair (since 2021) and is the current City Council representative on the Gas & Water Board and Joint Housing Advisory Committee. Through eight years of service on the Council, she is the only sitting council member never to miss an executive, regular or special session.
